``Ponder a Christian-right America'' (letter July 3) asked what America would look like if Congress, the presidency and the Supreme Court were dominated by the Christian right.
To name a few things, one would be able to read from the Bible and say a prayer in our public schools just as we did 50 years ago; a baby cradled in its mother's womb would be as safe as a baby cradled in her arms; the first lady would not want health care to include abortions; and the president would not champion sodomy as a normal way of life.
We hear much about tolerance, not realizing that we on any one side of an issue tolerate only what we believe is right.
