William C. Overman Associates in Virginia Beach elected John W. Warwick president, William M. Boone and James R. Land vice presidents, and Robert M. Silver corporate treasurer. Boone will also serve as corporate secretary.
HEALTH CARE
J. Ridgely Porter III was named chairman of the Chesapeake Hospital Authority, the governing arm of Chesapeake General Hospital. Porter is a lawyer in Portsmouth.
Dr. Jeanne C. Dillon joined the medical staff with NDC Medical Center in Norfolk. Dillon, an internist, received her degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk in 1991.
Dr. James J. Yeates joined the staff of Vella Chiropractic Center in Virginia Beach as an associate. Yeates, a certified chiropractic sports physician, had practiced with Commonwealth Chi-ro-prac-tic Center in Richmond.
INSURANCE
Steven L. Reardon was named senior vice president with Henderson & Phillips Insurance in Norfolk. Reardon joined the firm in 1985 as a special accounts manager. He most recently was vice president of marketing for the company.
PUBLIC RELATIONS
Kevin J. Gaydosh was named an associate with Brickell & Associates Public Relations in Virginia Beach. For the past 10 months, Gaydosh had been director of public relations with Group III Communications. He formerly spent three years with The Polizos Agency.
REAL ESTATE
J. Howard Luck was named executive vice president and director of operations with The Breeden Cos. in Virginia Beach.
He will be responsible for com-mercial and residential prop-er-ty management, construction and development activities.
Luck joined the real estate company last year to coordinate its construction activities. He had been president of Manassas Lumber Corp.
RETAIL
Bill Marx was appointed merchandise manager of women's shoes with Hofheimer's corporate office in Chesapeake. Marx was formerly a buyer with Nordstrom in Arlington.
RETIREMENT RESIDENCE
Judy Raymond was named administrator with The Ballentine, a retirement residence in Norfolk. Raymond had been executive director with Brittany House, a residential facility in California. Ballentine is managed by Westminster-Canterbury in Vir-ginia Beach.
STOCK BROKERAGE
Joseph R. Yanez was named vice president of investments with A.G. Edwards & Sons Inc. in Norfolk. Yanez has been an investment broker with the firm for 14 years.
A.G. Edwards also promoted Thomas N. Anderson Jr. to a senior investment broker. Anderson joined the firm in 1988.
