Cavalier Marine Supply Co. in Norfolk acquired the Virginia assets of William H. Swan & Sons Inc. and Winslow-Walker Co., both in Norfolk. Company employees will transfer to Cavalier Marine.
HONORS, AWARDS
E. Diane Thompson won an outstanding service award as a discussion leader from the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She was one of five Virginians to win the award. Thompson is an attorney with the Norfolk law firm of Hofheimer, Nusbaum, McPhaul & Samuels.
The Virginia Society of Professional Engineers recognized two lo
cal engineers for outstanding achievements. John H. Epperson, a partner with The CEGG Partnership in Portsmouth, was named Engineer of the Year. Also, Clayton E.
