Elmer Snead Talley, 81, of Columbia, died July 29, 1994, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Stoneman Talley.
He is survived by one son, Elmer S. ``Al'' Talley Jr. of Fredericksburg, Va.; and a granddaughter, Elaine Ann Talley of Oklahoma City, Okla.
Mr. Talley was a 50-year member and past master of the Cabell Masonic Lodge 328, A.F. & A.M. of Columbia and a life member of Oakwood United Methodist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Oakwood United Methodist Church, Cumberland County, with Masonic Rites. Interment in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store.
