We of Hampton Roads owe a debt of gratitude to the religious right. Pressure from less than 1 percent of our population coerced the local television media into keeping ``NYPD Blue'' off the air.
It matters not that this show received more Emmy nominations than any show in history. We are not subjected to such trash.
We should all be proud that these folks are protecting our First Amendment rights. Let's ensure that we elect more of their kind so that we can all live our lives by their moral values and allow them to do all of our thinking for us!
