Margaret Jordan Burns, 80, of the 4100 block of Santa Maria Drive, died Aug. 1, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Burns was a native of Norfolk County and was the widow of John Raymond Burns Sr. She was retired from General Electric.
Survivors include a son, John R. Burns Jr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Phyllis Ladd of Littleton, N.C.; a brother, Joseph S. Jordan of Suffolk; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. David Phillips. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Chesapeake Rescue Squad.
