LEON BAILEY

Leon Bailey of the 300 block of Wellons St., Suffolk, and the 1300 block of Lindsay Ave., Portsmouth, died July 29, 1994, in Obici Hospital.

Mr. Bailey was born in Portsmouth and was an Army veteran.

Survivors include three sisters, Katie Scott and Susie Boykin, both of Portsmouth, and Willie Mae Freeman of Richmond, Va.; a brother, Edward Bailey of Richmond, Va.; an aunt, Nancy Myers of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Addison. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery with military honors. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday. The family will be at the home of his sister, Susie Boykin, 1311 Lindsay Ave., and will assemble there for the funeral service.
