Viola Edwards Peele, 90, a homemaker of Main Street, died Aug. 2, 1994, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Peele was born in Bertie County, N.C. She was a member of Sandy Run Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sisters, Lucille Cockrell and Margaret P. Wood, both of Roxobel, and Hilda Mitchell and Frances Burden, both of Ahoskie.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Roxobel-Kelford Cemetery by the Rev. Michael Jones. Garrett Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to the Sandy Run Baptist Church, Roxobel, N.C. 27872.
