Now you can buy liquor and gambling materials in one convenient location. Beginning this week, most of the state's ABC stores are selling instant lottery tickets.
All but 16 of the state's 243 alcoholic beverage stores started offering the service on Monday. The exempted few will serve as a ``study group'' to let the state measure how selling instant lottery tickets affects ABC store business.
In Hampton Roads, the following stores do not sell the tickets:
2973 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach.
1136 London Blvd., Portsmouth.
1500 E. Brambleton Ave., Norfolk.
By Oct. 1, 140 of the stores plan to sell Lotto, Pick 3, Pick 4 and Cash 5 tickets. by CNB
