Dixie Haynes Stone, 79, of Portsmouth, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Stone, a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., was retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, as a budget analyst, with 30 years of service. She was the widow of Ezra Van ``Doc'' Stone.
Survivors include a niece, Shirley M. Nyberg of Franktown, Colo.; and Charlotte Shea of Portsmouth.
A graveside service will be held in Mountain Park Cemetery, Surry County, N.C., at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The family will recieve friends at Foster Funeral Home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Mrs. Stone will be sent from Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, on Friday to Moody Funeral Service in Dobson, N.C. for burial.
