Charles A. Loveland Jr., 60, of the 100 block of Pritchard Road, a retired civil service employee, died Aug. 2, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Loveland was born in Norfolk and was a Protestant. He was retired from N.A.S. Oceana. He was an Army veteran and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Lynnhaven Moose Lodge (NU)1198, Virginia Beach.
Survivors include his wife, Frances P. Loveland; three daughters, Deborah Quist, Patti Payne and Susan Loveland, all of Virginia Beach; his mother, Wilma B. Loveland of Norfolk; a brother, Tommy Loveland of Richmond; and six grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at noon Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and following the services at the home of Deborah Quist, 5600 Coliss Ave., Virginia Beach. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
