MILTON STIFF SR.

Milton Stiff Sr., of the 1200 block of Coltrane Drive, a retired electronics mechanic, died Aug. 2, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Stiff was born in Norfolk and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Air Rework Facility. He was a member of New First Baptist Church Taylorsville in Portsmouth, the Male Usher Board, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 27, Deep Creek Elks Lodge, and was an Army-Air Corps veteran. He was a graduate of the two-year electronics trade program at Norfolk State University.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Stiff; two daughters, Carolyn McMillian of Portsmouth and Claudia Jordan of Hampton; a son, Milton Stiff Jr. of Lanham, Md.; a sister, Hazel Corprew of New York City; a brother, Samuel Stiff of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Graves Funeral Home, Norfolk, by the Rev. Calvin James and the Rev. Charles Springs. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may join the family at the residence. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
