Chad A. Burke, 30, of the 6300 block of Colby Way, an electrician, died Aug. 1, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Burke was born in Barberton, Ohio, and was a Catholic. He was the lead singer of the Funkamungus rock band.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne P. Burke, and is survived by his father, Michael J. Burke of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Jodi Felkel and her husband, Tim Felkel, of Asheville, N.C., Kim J. Burke of Norfolk, Kelli M. Burke of Virginia Beach and Stacy C. Burke of Manchester, Ohio; maternal grandparents, Albert and Nila Portis of Canal Fulton, Ohio; three nieces, Disiree Felkel, Noelle Felkel and April Felkel; two nephews, Michael Stanley and Ryan Burke; aunts, uncles and cousins, Galloway family of Manchester, Ohio, and Benton family of Manchester, Ohio.
Services and burial will be held in Manchester, Ohio. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Judeo-Christian Outreach Center, P.O. Box 831, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
