Memorial services for William A. ``Bill'' Brown will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday from the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, Fla., with Father Bob Pensenstadler of St. Catherine's Catholic Church officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the U.S. Navy.

Mr. Brown was a resident of Stafford, Va. He was working with the Kuwaiti Air Force under the employment of Kay and Associates. He was visiting his family in the Jacksonville/Orange Park, Fla., area when he became ill and passed away at an Orange Park hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 1994. He was a 30-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, retiring in 1990 as a master chief petty officer.

Survivors include his wife, Suzie Brown; a son, Shaun Brown of Orange Park, Fla.; two daughters, Michelle Wise and her husband, John, of Jacksonville, Fla. and Jennifer Hutchinson of Virginia Beach; his ex-wife and friend, Priscilla Brown of Orange Park; his mother, Susan Brown of New York City; a sister, Janie Brown of New York City; a brother, James Brown, residing in Michigan; and a grandson, Cory Allen Wise.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Florida Chapter, 9550 Regency Square Blvd., Suite 104, Jacksonville, Fla. 32225.
