Sarah Elizabeth Richards, 78, a retired nurses' aide, died Aug. 4, 1994, in a Chesapeake hospital.
She was a native of Summerville, Mass., and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Chesapeake.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann Wasierski of Nantucket, Mass. and Nancy Lee Jeannotte of Chesapeake; a sister, Alma Langley of San Diego, Calif.; two brothers, Thomas Richards of Nantucket and Joseph L. Richards of Palmyra, Va.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements.
