Did the reaction of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Cisneros to the lawsuit filed by his former lover bother anyone other than me? Instead of denying it or blaming it on the Christian Right, he complained that his taxpayer-supplied federal salary is not sufficient to permit him to continue his payments to her.
If he can't support his mistress on his present salary, then I suggest he get a new job in the private sector.
Mr. Cisneros is another example of the ``high ethical and moral standards'' that Mr. Clinton promised would be maintained in his administration.
