Janet S. Peterson, 70, of the 2000 block of Starboard Court, died Aug. 5, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Peterson was born in Brocton, MA., and resided in Virginia Beach for the past eight years.
Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Peterson; daughters, Sandra Nuzum and Joyce Lyon, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Douglas Peterson of Pearl River, N.Y.; two sisters, Claire Wilbur of Avon, MA and Muriel Horton of Nobleboro, Maine; and grandchildren, Katie Peterson, David Peterson, Anna Peterson, Chelsea Nuzum and Krista Nuzum.
A funeral service will be private. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to the National Arthritis Foundation of America, 1314 Spring St., N.W., Atlanta, Ga. 30309.
