PLANE LANDS SAFELY ON TRACK AT BEACH SCHOOL

Pilot Jeff Mitchell, right, flying a Bellanca Citabria airplane

belonging to Ray Stevens, left, had to make an emergency landing on

the track of Ocean Lakes High School in Virginia Beach on Friday

after the plane developed mechanical difficulties. No one was hurt,

and the plane was not damaged. The plane was tied to a truck to

keep it anchored in winds.
