William E. Flournoy, 88, of Virginia Beach, a retired Consul General for the U.S. Foreign Service, died August 6, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Flournoy was a native of Norfolk, Va. He was the widower of Ruth Kennon Flournoy.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Bruce and Basil Duncan of Columbus, Ohio; and two grandchildren; Kennon and her husband Joshua Anderson of Beverly, Mass., and Basil Duncan III of Columbus, Ohio.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 1994, in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. John Jordan. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
