Arthur L. Riddick, 70, of the 200 block of Lakeside Drive, died Aug. 4, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Riddick was born in Portsmouth. He retired from Lone Star after 38 years, was a member of Celestial Baptist Church and an usher, and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three stepdaughters, Helen Watkins of Portsmouth and Ann and Laura Gordon of Philadelphia, Pa.; five stepsons, John and Ronnie Gordon of Portsmouth, Bernard Gordon of Norfolk, Shelton Gordon of Newport News and Albert Gordon of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Willie H. Riddick of Roselle, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; Catherine King, a devoted friend, of Chesapeake; an aunt, Neda Rogers of Portsmouth; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday at Celestial Baptist Church by the Rev. Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will be at 3001 Watson St., residence of Magdalene Brown, and they will assemble there for the procession.
