Leola McCabe Oliver, 84, of the 3300 block of Lilac Drive, died Aug. 6, 1994, in a Suffolk nursing home.
Mrs. Oliver was a native of Creswell, N.C., a Baptist and the widow of Solomon J. Oliver Jr.
Survivors include a son, S. Jay Oliver III, of Portsmouth; a grandchild, Eric J. Oliver of Los Angeles; and several nieces.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. George F. Mullinax. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will greet friends at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
