Above, Sgt. 1st Class Paul Raspino of the United States Army
Parachute Team jumps out of a plane over Langley Air Force Base in
Hampton on Saturday. Raspino, who is from Philadelphia, is the
``Golden Knights'' jump team's assistant leader. Right, a
parachutist from the team trails smoke from a canister. The Golden
Knights have performed over 6,000 live aerial demonstrations in all
50 states and 42 foreign countries. The team, founded in 1959 at
Fort Bragg, N.C., also researches and develops new parachuting
techniques and equipment.
