Robert Lafayette Ingram, 83, longtime Virginia Beach resident and founder of Ingram Pharmacy, died Aug. 5, 1994, in Chatham, Va.
Mr. Ingram was the widower of Marguerite W. Ingram. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his son, Robert L. Ingram Jr., and grandson, Rob Ingram, of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Slade Plantinga, and granddaughter, Kathleen Plantinga, of New Paltz, N.Y.; and two sisters, Sallie Ingram and Lucy Campbell of Chatham, Va.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by the Rev. Georgiana V. Brabban.
Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad.
