Grant C. Thornander, 23, died Aug. 6, 1994.
He is survived by his father, David R. Thornander of Australia; mother and stepfather, Judith and Harold Cummings of Annapolis; sister, Keryn Durst and her husband, Mike Durst, of Virginia Beach; brother, Colin Cummings of Athens, Ga.; grandmother, Vi Kershaw of Australia; niece, Amanda Durst of Virginia Beach; and beloved friend, Jamie Sherlock of Annapolis.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today in John M. Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the U.S. Naval Academy. Interment will be in St. Anne's Cemetery.
