Mr. Morris Ambrose, 88, died Aug. 1, 1994, in his home, in the 800 block of Goff St., Norfolk.
He was born in Elizabeth City, N.C. He was the son of the late Mr. Jessie Morris and Mrs. Viola K. Morris. He retired from W.T. Grant after 25 years. He was the widower of Della B. Morris.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Everett of Norfolk; two nieces, Mrs. Debra E. Holley of Norfolk and Mrs. Jeanette E. Parker of Virginia Beach; and five cousins, Mrs. Viola Felton, Mrs. Gladys Beasley, Mrs. Mattie B. Smith, Mrs. Margaret B. Council and Mrs. Alice B. Cann, all of Portsmouth.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 12:30 p.m. at Graves Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. Alexander Simons. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
