W.W. WORLD

W.W. World, 67, founder and former owner of World 1 Hour Cleaners, died Aug. 8, 1994, in Norfolk.

He was born H. Randall McLawhorne in Grifton N.C. He moved to Norfolk in the 1930s and had been a resident of Tidewater area for over 60 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4089, Norfolk and Norfolk Moose Lodge (NU)39.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Lela A. McLawhorne and a son, Dave R. McLawhorne; and is survived by a grandson.

A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Riverside Memorial Park by the Rev. Warren Chapman. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, is handling arrangements.
