James E. Boone, 55, of the 2000 block of County St., died Aug. 7, 1994, in Maryview Medical Center.
Mr. Boone was born in Suffolk and was a member of Beacon Light Lodge #34, Order of Elks.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Boone; two daughters, April and Jamika, both of Portsmouth; five sons, Rodriguez, James, Hamp and Jacoby, all of Portsmouth, and Shamus Warren of Chesapeake; two sisters, Marie E. Wright and Ardrell Redmond, both of Portsmouth; two brothers, Herbert Boone of Suffolk and Robert Boone of Portsmouth; and one grandchild, Jamesha Jordan of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in Corprew Funeral Home by the Rev. T.M. Steele. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin at noon Wednesday in the funeral home. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
