William C. ``Bill'' Stebbins, 76, retired owner of Stebbins Lawn Equipment, died Aug. 7, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Stebbins was born in Norfolk and was a Protestant. He retired after 45 years. He was a past president of American Legion Post 327 and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine B. Stebbins; a son, Robert L. Stakes of Fredericksburg, Va.; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two stepsons, Joseph A. Barrett III and Robert W. Barrett, both of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rosewood Memorial Park by the Rev. Horace A. Culpepper. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. Memorial donations may be made to Princess Anne Plaza Fire & Rescue Squad, P.O.
