The medical examiner has determined that the West African exchange student who was found dead in a backyard pool Friday drowned accidentally.
Linda O. Tetteh, 20, a student at Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, was spending August with friends in the 5700 block of Avalon Woods Drive, police said. She was from Ghana.
Tetteh's body was found Friday afternoon when friends of the pool's owners stopped by for a swim.
