Mrs. Sally Groppuso O'Brien, of the 3400 block of Ashfield Court, died Monday, Aug. 8, 1994 in Moses Cone Hospital.
A native of New York, she is survived by her husband, Emmett O'Brien of the home; daughters, Cheryl Amato of Pensacola, Fla., Debbie Pace and Brenda Beale, both of Newport News, Va., Lynn O'Brien Lee of Virginia Beach; sons, Frank Amato Jr. of Atlanta, Ga., and Emmett O'Brien III of St. Albans, Vt.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Raleigh.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Human Service Alliance, 3983 Old Greensboro Road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27101. Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home is in charge.
