Suffolk Detective J.K. Cooke needs help finding the person who robbed the Home Savings Bank at 1455 N. Main St. on Aug. 3.
At about 12:35 p.m., a man with a gun entered the bank, approached a teller, laid the gun and a bag on the counter and demanded that the teller give him all the money in her drawer. As soon as he received the money, he fled in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5-foot-10 and 170 to 190 pounds, with a beard and mustache. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark cloth draped over his head and a dark-colored baseball cap turned backward.
