EDWARD F. WAFF

Edward Frederick Waff, 79, of the 400 block of Maycox Ave., died Aug. 10, 1994.

He was born in Edenton, N.C., and was a resident of Norfolk for most of his life. He was a graduate of the 1933 class of Maury High School and was an accountant with Southgate Trucking Corporation for 47 years. He also was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Philippines, and was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4809.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Adelaide R. Waff; a son, Edward F. Waff Jr.; a daughter, Terrye Toland; and three grandchildren, Liam, Sean and Katie Toland.

The family would like his friends to remember him and share with them in the celebration of his life. He was a good friend and a loving husband, father and grandparent. He donated his body to medical science.
