Winifred Mortley Barrett, 94, of the 400 block of Holly Hill Road, a retired seamstress, died Aug. 10, 1994, in Pinewood Manor Rest Home, Ahoskie.
Mrs. Barrett was born in Dover, England, and was a member of the Church of England. She was retired from Belk Tyler Co., and was the widow of Frank William Barrett.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Pearce of Murfreesboro; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Meherrin Baptist Church Cemetery, Murfreesboro, by the Rev. Rowland S. Pruette. Garrett Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Roanoke Chowan Hospice, P.O. Box 272, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
