Strong-arm robbery, 100 block of N. George Washington Highway. As she walked into a store, the victim was approached by two men. One pushed her into a brick wall, while the other took her purse, which contained $100 and her driver's license. July 18.
Residential burglary, 2700 block of Conrad Ave. The victim was at home when two men entered her house. About $5,649 was taken, but the victim was unharmed. July 17 or 18.
Petty larceny, 3200 block of S. Military Highway. Missing: girl's bicycle. July 19.
Grand larceny, 1300 block of N. George Washington Highway. Missing: 1981 Oldsmobile 98, tan, Virginia license plate ZXR08198. July 20.

WESTERN BRANCH BOROUGH
(Suburban area west of Portsmouth)
Strong-arm robbery, Crown Station, 3208 Western Branch Blvd. The suspect entered the business acting as if he were going to purchase a soft drink. The suspect then ran around the counter as the cashier opened the register and pushed her away from it. Suspect grabbed money out of the register. He than left, headed toward Suffolk, driving a rusty older model, silver-gray, two-door car with possible license plates of ZX6-5042 or ZX-5042. Suspect is described as a white male, 6 feet 11 inches tall, 250 pounds, about 30 years old, heavy build and bald. Suspect was wearing a dirty white T-shirt with cut-off black shorts.
Armed robbery, 3200 block of Churchland Blvd. Two suspects approached a married couple sitting in their vehicle, pointed a gun at them and demanded money. July 13.
Armed robbery, 3100 block of Western Branch Blvd. The victim was approached in the parking lot of Wendy's as she was going to the drive-up window to get a bank deposit bag. The suspect broke the window with a gun and demanded the bag from two other employees. The suspect is described as a black male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 195 pounds. Suspect fled by jumping the fence and getting into a beige Buick or Oldsmobile. July 15.
Grand larceny, 2900 block of Sir Walter Crescent. Missing: a Memphis electric guitar and case, a crate electric guitar amplifier, a Dunlop wah-wah pedal, flanger pedal and a small, black airline suitcase.
