Welfare reform is a very important issue in this election. We need reform that produces independence, not dependency.

In his ``Agenda for Change,'' Ollie North suggests a real way to solve the welfare-reform challenge. We need to elect Ollie North to the U.S. Senate for the betterment of our nation.
