Daniel Hundley Templeton, 59, of Virginia Beach, owner of Templeton & Associates in Virginia Beach, died Aug. 11, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Templeton was born in Lynchburg, Va. He was a member of Baylake United Methodist Church in Virginia Beach, and a member of the Virginia Beach Wetlands Board. Mr. Templeton was a builder for W.B. Meredith II Inc. for 20 years, and his jobs included the new Old Dominion University Library, Norfolk Academy, Norfolk Yacht and Country Club, Empire Machinery, and a major addition to Portsmouth General Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Kay Jones Templeton; two daughters, Kathie Templeton Carter and Terry Templeton Rodgers, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Phillip Daniel Templeton of Virginia Beach; a sister, Thelma B. Haymes of Lynchburg; two brothers, Melvin Earl Templeton and Lawrence Edward Templeton, both of Lynchburg; and seven grandchildren.
A church service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Baylake United Methodist Church by the Rev. Ted E. David and Dr. Earl D. Martin. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Hospice Program or to Baylake United Methodist Church. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
