Selma Holliday, 79, of the 4600 block of Lookout Road, a homemaker, died Aug. 11, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Holliday was born in Farm Life, N.C., and was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Ellsworth ``Doc'' Holliday in 1973. She was a member of Virginia Beach Christian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Nan H. Smith and Susan H. Harrell, and two sons, Ellsworth D. Holliday and John M. Holliday, all of Virginia Beach; a sister, Erah M. ``Pat'' McNair of LaPorte, Texas; a brother, John David Mizelle Jr. of Virginia Beach; nine granchildren, David Harrell, Michael Harrell, Beth Ives, Jeff Childress, Amy Smith, Karen Balzer, Kevin Holliday, Dana Ayers and Tommy Holliday; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Virginia Beach Christian Church by Dr. William Austin. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at 4634 Lookout Road, Virginia Beach, following the service. Flowers or memorial donations may be made to the Holliday Memorial Garden Fund at Virginia Beach Christian Church. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
