James O. Stewart, 62, of the 800 block of Madison St., died Aug. 8, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Stewart was born in Columbia, Tenn. He was retired from the Public Works Department of the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include his wife, Cecelia L. Stewart; and a sister, Virginia King of Columbia, Tenn.
Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. The body will be sent to Columbia, Tenn., for burial.
