Walter Boone, 67, of the 2400 block of E. Washington St., died Aug. 8, 1994, in Louise Obici Hospital.
Mr. Boone was born in Holland, Va. He was a member of Stoney Branch Baptist Church, Gates, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Boone; five sons, Aldridge Boone of Hampton, Walter Boone of Roduco, N.C., Andre Cobb of Suffolk, Michael Leggett and Ricky Leggett, both of Norfolk; five daughters, Valda Boone of Windsor, N.C., Marilyn Boone of Macon, N.C., Lutelia Boone of Windsor, N.C., Regina Cobb of Newport News and Monique Cobb of Virginia Beach; three brothers, Shirley Boone of Long Island, N.Y., Grafton Boone Jr. and Johnnie Boone, both of Suffolk; four sisters, Myreece Anderson, Nita Norfleet, Peggy Williams and Tessie Plummer, all of Suffolk; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in Stoney Branch Baptist Church, Gates, by the Rev. Timothy Hicks, Pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hunter's Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is in charge.
