Mildred Pallett Murphy Bray, 67, of the 4800 block of Morris Neck Road, a homemaker, died August 12, 1994.
She was a native of Norfolk and was a widow of Charlie Bray. She was a member of Church of Christ in Creeds, Virginia Beach.
She is survived by one daughter, Elaine M. Etheridge of Virginia Beach; two stepdaughters, Sybil Rigsby and Clara Dokey, both of Atlanta, Ga.; one son, George G. Murphy Jr. of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Marian Patterson and Melva Carroll, both of Virginia Beach; one brother, Charles L. ``Buddy'' Pallett Jr. of Chesapeake; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday in Church of Christ, Creeds, by the Rev. Kent Bayne. Burial will be in Charity United Methodist Church Cemetery. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel, is handling the arrangements. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home today from 3 to 4 p.m.
