James M. ``Jim'' Weaver, 45, of the 4500 block of Masada Drive, a retired CWO3 U.S. Navy officer, died August 12, 1994.
He was born in St. Petersburg, Fla., and was Methodist. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam and the Persian Gulf War, having served on the USS America, the USS Josephus Daniels, and the USS George Washington. He also served at Comdesron Two and Charleston Weapons Station, Charleston, S.C.
He is survived by his wife, T.J. Weaver; one son, Craig A. Weaver of Virginia Beach; four sisters, Jean Jones of Tampa, Fla., Barbara Stevens of Piermont, N.H., Arlene Kelley of West Rumney, N.H., and Shirley Kiser of San Jose, Calif.; and one brother, Wallace Weaver of New Hampshire.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Chaplain Earl L. Boyette, USN (Ret.). Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. Family will be at the funeral home Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
