ELMER FARMER

Elmer ``Lynn'' Farmer, 76, of Brigadoon Drive, a retired pipefitter, died Aug. 13, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Farmer was born in Anderson County, Tenn. He had retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard after 25 years. He was a member and elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees Chapter 974, USS Altair Association and Sentara Select. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Brady Farmer; two sons, Robert L. Farmer and Donald L. Farmer, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, Denny Farmer of Miami, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Edwin H. Rayfield. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 39th Street and Hampton Blvd., Norfolk, Va. 23508.
