Arlene McDonald Ward, 61, of the 5800 block of Brookmere Lane, died Aug. 14, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Ward, a native of Hamlet, N.C., was the widow of Edward T. Ward. She was a nurse at Churchland Middle School and was formerly an occupational nurse with C & P Telephone Co.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayle W. Behrens of High Point, N.C.; and a son, E. Theodore Ward of Virginia Beach.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Richard W. Lovingood. Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is handling arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters.
