Fannie Nottingham Scott, widow of Marion S. Scott, died at the Hermitage in Onancock Monday, Aug. 15, 1994.
Mrs. Scott was born Dec. 22, 1902, at Eyreville on the Eastern Shore to William Dixon Nottingham and Frances Elizabeth Whitehead Nottingham. She attended Mary Baldwin College and Sweet Briar College. She was a member of the Holmes Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her three children, Kate Scott Jacob of Onancock, Va., Marion S. Scott Jr. of Seaview, Va., and Betty Scott Jones of Arvonia, Va.; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Holmes Presbyterian Church, Bayview, Va. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Arrangements are by Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home, Cape Charles.
