CLEMON WILLIAMS

Clemon Williams of the 7600 block of Diven St., died Aug. 12, 1994.

Mr. Williams was born in Hampton. He was retired after 35 years from the Virginia Beverage Company, where he was the chauffeur for Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cooper. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Norfolk, the Trustee Board and was active in the Men's League. He was a member of the Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include his wife, Agnes Williams; two daughters, Lillian Branch of Norfolk and Clemontine Blanchette of New York City; two sons, Clemon Daniel Williams of Columbus, S.C., and Lloyd Mann of Norfolk; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one nephew, Stanley Williams of Portsmouth; great-nephews, Stanley Williams Jr. of Richmond and Clyde Williams of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church by the Rev. Keith Cook. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Family and friends will assemble at 7644 Diven St., Norfolk, at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday for the funeral procession to the church. Metropolitan Funeral Service is handling arrangements.
