Floyd L. Williams, 81, of the 6400 block of Whitter Drive, died Aug. 14, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Williams was born in Glendon, N.C. He was retired from the Naval Supply Center after 37 years and was a member of St. Thomas AMEZ Church, Campostella.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Williams; a daughter, Mahalia W. Clark of Chesapeake; a sister, Nellie Roberts of Raleigh, N.C.; a grandchild, Micheal G. Clark of Norfolk; two sisters-in-law, Annie Lucas of Norfolk and Iola Williams of Carthage, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Thomas AMEZ Church by the Rev. G.L. Scott. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will be at 216 Fillmore Place, Chesapeake. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
