SAMUEL C. BLOW

Samuel C. ``Nick'' Blow of the 2600 block of Nashville Ave., died Aug. 14, 1994.

Mr. Blow was a native of Portsmouth. He was a retired self-employed entrepreneur and a member of First Corinthian Baptist Church, 2308 Randolph St. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Blow; five daughters, Carol Little of New York, Chaquita Blow of Texas, Deborah Blow, Felicia Ellis and Lynette Blow, all of Portsmouth; four sons, Eddie Nixon of New York, Antonio Blow, Fernando Blow and Cartinez Blow, all of Portsmouth; an aunt, Rachel Bush of Chester, Pa.; three cousins, Charles Peete, Mel Williams and Dexter Williams; 26 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Corinthian Baptist Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The remains will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the church building fund. Rogers Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
