Lucy Marilyn Harless, 72, formerly of Yawkey, W.Va., died Aug. 15, 1994, in Camelot Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Harless was born in Yawkey, W.Va., on Dec. 31, 1921, and resided in West Virginia throughout most of her life.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Cleo L. Harless of Yawkey, W.Va.; four daughters, Elizabeth Ostrea of Chesapeake, Mary Lucas of Charlotte, N.C., Carol McClure of Charleston, W.Va., and Deborah Locher of Virginia Beach; a sister, Julia Fuller of Anderson, S.C.; a brother, Herman Hill of South Charleston, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Lou Harless, her parents, John Hill and Martha Jane McClure Hill, two brothers and two sisters.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, by the Rev. Charles L. Moseley. Burial will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday.
