The retailer that sold nVIEW Corp.'s projection panels in the New York City area has sued the Newport News manufacturer for $500,000. The retailer, Wolsten Inc. of East Orange, N.J., claims that nVIEW failed to deliver orders, changed its prices without notification and tried to steal its customers. The projection panels use liquid-crystal display technology to create images for business presentations and educational uses. Wolsten Inc. lost between $40,000 and $50,000 when nVIEW began selling its products directly to customers in early 1992. nVIEW offered a settlement, which the company declined.
