CHANGE OF COMMAND:
Capt. John C. Bucelato assumes command of the Naval Aviation Depot at the Norfolk Naval Air Station. His previous assignment was as executive officer of the depot.
Lt. Cmdr. Ronald Ungaro relieves Lt. Cmdr. Jay R. Huston as commander of Underwater Construction Team One at Little Creek Naval Amphibious Base. Ungaro has been serving at Naval Security Group Activity in Winter Harbor, Maine. Huston has been assigned to Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico, as assistant public works officer.
Capt. Daniel Pendarvis relieves Capt. Marvin R. Nordwall as commander of the Navy's Supply Support Assistance Center in Norfolk. Pendarvis has been serving with the office of the chief of naval operations for logistics.
Cmdr. James E. Pillsbury relieved Cmdr. James K. Lyons as commander of the nuclear powered submarine James K. Polk. Pillsbury recently served as a project officer at Submarine Squadron 12. Lyon's next duty station will be on the staff of the Operational Test and Evaluation Force, Norfolk.
Lt. Melvin L. Akins relieved Lt. Kenneth H. Deal as Officer in charge, Personnel Support Activity Detachment, Little Creek. Akins recently served as assistant force personnel officer at the Atlantic Naval Surface Force. Deal will report as flag secretary of the Operational Test and Evaluation Force.
